The six-legged Ellipsis imitated the walk of the animal she most resembled—a slug.
Her elongated body meandered clumsily as she circled the podium. The sluggish appearance belied her power and understated her threat. At first sight, she could be mistaken for a harmless slug, but the truth was apparent in her purpose. She exuded the venom of another slinky creature whose body curved as it moved. Ellipsis was in fact no more than a snake.
